|  | Mommy guppies die as giving birth...

I'm asking a question for my mom....
She recently started an aquarium... 2 Molly's and a dozen or so guppies... first, her males were after the females so much, the females were dying, so she was told she should have about 3 or 4 females to males... she did that. Then every time a Mama guppy had babies, she'd die almost right away. The surviving babies are in the breeder thing.. so they're fine. She has had the water tested..it's fine.
Any idea why the guppies are dying?
