|  | Great christmas gift need help

Hello all>
I was given a 54 gallon corner tank with overflow and although i know my way around the local pet store, I am unsure of what type of filtration set up i would need. I am probably going to go with a cichlid themed tank and I am basically starting from scratch. I do not have a large amount of money to drop on a filter because of the rest of neccessities i need to start up the tank. If anyone has any recommendations, i would love to hear it. Thanks
