White Cacoons

I have a 30 gallon reef tank that is a little over 4 months old. I have about 6 white cacoons in the tank all of a sudden. Can someone tell me what they are??

I have 2 clown fish, 1 royal gramma, 1 banded coral shrimp, 1 brittle star, 1 blue maxima clam, 1 flame scallop, 1 anemone, 1 hammer head coral, 1 fan worm, 5 hermit crabs, 5 algae eating snails?, some polyps, and a mushroom coral. Had a blenny but it died recently. This is my wifes tank I'm just the janitor and all around handy man. Any help you can give would be great. ;D

Not quite sure what your talking about. I've never had a reef tank before. But I'll look it up and see if I can find anything on it for ya. In that time you might ask Bill and see if he knows anything about it! :D

first off what is in your tank?
we might be more able to help if you give us more info.

mainly i need to know what kinds of fish you have.

If they look like little white pineapples then they're most likely sponges. I used to see them all the time in my tank.
