Okay, I thought I'd ask here before I take a water sample to the pet store.
I noticed day before yesterday one of the guppies looked a littled red behind the gills. He/she was swimming okay and looked like eating okay.
Today I found him/her dead. Do you think I have a problem? Will this happen to the other guppies? I just did about a 30% water change and added Cycle and a dechlorinator (sp.) Like I said, I'm getting the water tested in just a few.
Thought I'd mention too, I counted about 24 fry. There's probably more. ~smile~ Thanks for any info you have for me.

Hmmmmm. Water tested fine and this was the only guppy that got sick. Others are fine. Must have just been one of those things. ~sigh~
Oh I bought a Nitrate and ammonia kit so I can test from home in the future.

Keep an eye on them, just because the one died doesn't mean that what ever killed him/her isn't still in the tank.

I agree you should keep an eye on them all. It could have been that one fish had higher stress levels etc. But be sure and keep an eye out!
