If anyone has an outdoor (or indoor) pond. Post some of the info....describe how big, what you have in it and perhaps what you want to do with it.
I have a rather large two-stage indoor (above-ground pond (approx 2500g) as a demo in our store; we grow lots of plants as well as handling all sizes of Comets, Shubunkins, Koi (regular & butterfly). Also stock Rosey reds and Gambosis (mosquito fish).
In the lower (smaller section) we have some fancier (display only) imports...like Ryukins, Pearlscales, Orandas, etc.
This section of the store is in a "greenhouse" type of attached structure to the main store.

Hi Heather...
Ponds are pretty neat "natural" ways of enjoying fish and plants. "Kidney" shaped ponds.... so, you're thinking of a "pre-formed" type (usually 250gal or less). Where do you live?? You have to be careful with smaller and (shallower) ponds....that the fish and plants can "winter over"!! Other than that, its a fine way to start off.
