I have a 30 gallon reef tank that is a little over 4 months old. I have about 6 white cacoons in the tank all of a sudden. Can someone tell me what they are??
I have 2 clown fish, 1 royal gramma, 1 banded coral shrimp, 1 brittle star, 1 blue maxima clam, 1 flame scallop, 1 anemone, 1 hammer head coral, 1 fan worm, 5 hermit crabs, 5 algae eating snails?, some polyps, and a mushroom coral. Had a blenny but it died recently. This is my wifes tank I'm just the janitor and all around handy man. Any help you can give would be great. ;D

Not quite sure what your talking about. I've never had a reef tank before. But I'll look it up and see if I can find anything on it for ya. In that time you might ask Bill and see if he knows anything about it!

Don't worry I haven't forgot! I'm looking for stuff, but haven't been able to come up with anything yet. But don't worry I'll keep looking!

If they look like little white pineapples then they're most likely sponges. I used to see them all the time in my tank.
