I need to move my three year old marble angel from it's current tank to a larger one. The angel is about 5 to 6 inches across so he's a big one. I bought him as an experiment and he's been living in a 20 gallon tank with two neon tetras and one cory. I want to shut that tank down and relocate the fish to my 75 gallon tank. Both tanks have been established for several years.
Over the years I have not replaced fish as they have died so my 75 gallon is relatively empty (one plecostomis, five or six zebras, a Betta, three kuhli loaches, one weather loach, one male sword (who I think is about to move on to the next world) and two large gold skirted tetras, one very large bleeding heart tetra and one neon.
My angel has done great with the fish in his current home. I don't want to give the fish to my local dealer but I also don't want to move him just to have him eat my remaining fish. Plus I'm in the process of reviving my 75 gallon by adding new fish --- finally.
Any advice on how the angel might do with new tankmates or if I should bite the bullet and give the fish to my dealer?
Thx --- Rae
