Hey, I just got my first Beta for my Macquarium (an aquarium I made out of an old Macintosh computer from the 80s). So when I first bought my betta (his name is Blackbeard), I also got a goldfish because the people at the pet store told me that bettas and goldfish would get along... but the betta didn't like the goldfish at all so I took the goldfish back.
So anyways, now I'm stuck with these goldfish flakes (nutrafin max goldfish spirulina flakes) that I bought and now I don't have a goldfish anymore. I noticed that when I fed the goldfish, the beta also liked to eat the flakes. I know I'm supposed to feed him bloodworms, and I've got lots of those (and he really likes them), but I was just wondering if I should feed him the flakes on occasion. It says they are good for color and he seemed to like them so.... and they have vegetables in them and I want him to have a balanced diet! Is this good or is it bad for the betta since it says it's for goldfish?
thank! -Jackson
