Did you crack the pane or just split the seam? It's a lot easier to reseal a split, although a small crack in a 10g pane probably wouldn't be too hard to patch. It's not like there's hundreds of pounds of pressure on it. If I had to fix it I'd take a flat piece of glass or plexiglass (bigger than the crack) and then run a bead of silicone around the edges of the patch before pressing it over the crack. It would need a couple of days to cure though. Or you could just spend $8 and buy a new tank at WalMart.
