A vivarium is sort of combination terrarium/aquarium. We're going to keep newts and frogs in it with some plants and a few livebearers. I think I've seen a pic or two of those before somewhere. They look really nice when they are all set up. When you get it up see if you can post some pics (If you can.) I'd love to see what it'll look like.

We haven't decided yet. We know he's keeping frogs/toads and probably newts, but we haven't got anything but an empty tank right now. I'm using an intank filter that I can set sideways for flow and filtration. I like the foggers, but I don't know how much use it would be. The lid is screen mesh, I'll have to replace it with plexiglass to keep the moisture in the tank.
As far as water falls go, I might rig the filter to discharge higher onto some rocks to flow down into the pool. I need to work on plant selection too, nothing too high in lighting requirements. Maybe ferns and pothos, it would have to handle high humidity too.

when i had an anole he liked 2 climb up on the spider plants, and they r good in humid climates, try some green hygros 4 the bottom of the tank *in the water* they will usually grow out of the tank and may be able 2 survive if its humid enough! hey, u just gave some good ideas! lol

I have a 125, 75, 55, 40, two 29's and a 10. I recently converted my 75 from a growout tank to a tetra tank. It is planted with jungle val, anubias, java fern, and java moss. Some driftwood, natural gravel and quite a few rocks are also used. The inhabitants are cardinals, serpae tetras, glowlights, rummynoses, glass cats, albino corys, and a chocolate albino pleco.
