Heather to tell you the truth,You can never breed guppies.
Because you can't get them to stop,they handle it with or without you.

I've bred kribs, several mbuna, Scianeochromis fryeri (electric blue haps), Neolamprologus brichardi, Lamprologus multifasciatus and brevis, fathead minnows, Girardinus metallicus (metallic livebearer from Cuba), endlers, guppies, blue gouramis and I've had my Betta falx mouthbrood before, but never tried to save the babies. I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of any right now.
Breeding helps keep the hobby interesting.

We have bred the guppies (ok who hasnt )the kribs, siamese fighters, cory's, angels and some malawis, they were hubbys, in fact its hubby that knows about and bothers about the breeding
